Give, and you shall receive!
“More than the calf wants to suckle, the cow wants to nurse.” Talmud (Pesachim 112a)
Parents are natural givers.
They want to give even more than their kids want to take.
Which is why it’s so gratifying to be able to spend quality time with our kids and contribute to their happiness.
So, as much as my son was excited for me to join him at a camp water park a couple of weeks ago, I was happier to be able to bring him joy with my presence and participation.
This Talmudic principal, in my view, applies to teachers and coaches as well.
They choose their profession to educate, serve, and inspire.
To help their students/clients maximize their potential.
That's why parents, teachers, and coaches do not get jealous of their children’s/students’/clients’ success.
Rather, they celebrate the success as if it’s their own.
Recently, our mastermind group got the great news that one member had blasted through a previously unreachable level with his business.
In fact, he did 3X last month compared to when we started a year ago.
And the group joined in celebration, with me at the lead.
There is little that feels better than to bring people together to learn, problem solves, collaborate, and inspire one another.
And then to sit back and “shep nachas” as they push each other to new heights.
If this sounds like something that will help you “next level” your success, message me
Onboarding a few new members before our next session this Thursday.
