How big should your goals be?
How big should your goals be?
Consider:
1) In Thursday’s mastermind group session this came up in one of our breakout rooms as we worked through a goal setting Clarity Tool
One member (A) had set a one-year goal to be at X revenue/month
His partners in the group started "poking holes" as we call it, challenging him to think bigger
One (B) said that about 2X/month was doable
The other (C) said, "I was thinking 2.5X!'
When I chatted with A afterwards his mind was swimming
(paraphrasing here:) "I thought that X was a big goal, and then they pushed me to double, almost triple that!"
I told him that he's got some work to do to figure out how to get there
And of course we'd help him
But if others believe in you, it can and must be done!
Which is what being in a mastermind is all about
2) Have a client call this morning with someone who wants to nearly double his current income level in the next 12 months
He asked me permission to be so ambitious
After all, he's been in "this place" for a while and has never broken through to new levels
Without hesitation I told him permission granted!
The real question is, is he shooting HIGH ENOUGH?

They see their current reality and aim for incremental growth
But we're capable of so much more if we just believe in and push ourselves
And surround ourselves with coaches and colleagues that will lift us up and push us to do more and be more
Never underestimate yourself
And never be satisfied
It's time we all 2X, 3X, 10X our growth, success, and impact
Who is with me?
