How to Stay Productive When Work is Slow
Ahh, another Monday π
While most people don't look forward to Monday, it typically is one of the most productive days of the week.
But what happens when business/work is slow?
Your industry is less active. Your clients are away.
You really don't want to waste your time away, but you don't have much work to do.
Here are some suggestions of how to stay productive on days like this:
1) Stay connected - Reach out to people and say hi. Share useful content. Stay on their radars for when they need you.
2) Tackle those projects - You know the ones that you procrastinate on. Maybe they're not critical to your basic function (like organizing your desk) or just don't seem central to your day-to-day (like writing that book).
3) Take time to envision - Are there things that you can be doing to make more money? To serve more people? To scale your impact? Go for a walk and let your mind open possibilities and new directions.
4) Build new habits - Maybe when things are busy it's difficult to get on track with important practices (such as exercise or better eating). Use this time to work through the processes so that as things pick up, you're already habituated to new ways of doing and being.
